Westernport Stoneworks have recently fabricated and installed outdoor kitchen benchtops in Dekton Domoos stone at Sorrento. Dekton is a sophisticated blend of raw materials used to produce the very latest in high quality quartz work surfaces. Dekton is suitable for domestic and commercial kitchens, bathrooms, facades, walls and high traffic floors and will last for the life of the product without needing to be re-surfaced or re-finished.

Dekton surfaces are:

• Highly UV resistant - to ultra violet (UV) light and will not fade or degrade over time, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor applications.
• Highly scratch resistant - the most scratch resistant surface on the market but cutting boards and trivets are still recommended.
• Resistant to stains - has extremely low porosity and contains no resins, making it chemical resistant to drips or splashes from common household chemicals like bleach, drain cleaners or oven degreasers.
• High resistance to fire and heat - withstands heat without burning, scorching or cracking.
  
• Resistant to abrasion - even more resistant to abrasion than granite, making it the ideal surface for commercial applications and high traffic areas such as flooring.
• Resistant to ice and thawing - thermal shock proof to extreme heat and extreme cold.
